Call for Demonstrations

The iTrust'2006 international conference looks at trust from multidisciplinary perspectives: economic, legal, psychology, philosophy, sociology as well as information technology.

iTrust'2006 will host a demonstration session. Technical demonstrations illustrating innovative and original research are solicited. The conference is interested in demonstrations of technology that address important research issues or demonstrate realistic applications of trust management in information systems. Interested authors are invited to check the specific topics of interest listed in the call for papers located at call for papers.

How to Submit

Interested authors are asked to submit a short paper describing their demonstration proposal to the both Demonstration Chairs (Yuecel Karabulut and Stephane Lo Presti). Submissions shall be in PDF or postscript format. Demonstration proposals shall not exceed four (4) pages including all figures, tables and references, and should be formatted according to the Springer-Verlag Lecture Notes in Computer Science guidelines, for more information see http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html.

Submissions will be evaluated on the basis of their relevance to the themes of the conference, innovation, scientific contribution, presentation and user friendliness. All accepted proposals will appear in the conference proceedings.

Short presentations are planned for accepted demonstrations during the conference. In addition, authors of accepted demonstrations will have at their disposal a demonstration area (table, chairs) and possibly a wireless network connection. Presenters will be expected to bring their own 802.11 compatible PC card and other equipment necessary for their demonstration. However, if you have particular requests for provision of equipment that you cannot bring with you, please email the Demonstration Chairs.

We further recommend that participants bring a poster to the session to complement their demonstration.
